    • The Study of Compressed Domain Multimedia Data Processing

      摘要:Multimedia data compression is a key technology in the fields of Multimedia, Networking & Communication and Computer applications. Vast amounts of multimedia data like images, video or audio data make it necessary to store and transfer multimedia data in its compressed format. However, multimedia applications require technologies permitting us to process multimedia data as flexible as we can. The utilizing of compression makes the direct processing of multimedia data more difficult. So, compressed domain processing of multimedia data has become an interesting research field. In this paper, the basic concepts and theoretical topics are discussed at first and a processing model is given. Then, some important research directions are discussed and analyzed.

      摘要:This paper presents a performance analysis and comparison between the binomial distribution filter and Gabor filter in the space domain and frequency domain. When the scale space constants of the two filters are large enough, the characteristics and performances are almost the same. But when the scale space constants are smaller, the conclusion can be made that the performances of the binomial distribution filter are better than that of Gabor filter. The texture image classification experiments are given to verify the effectiveness of the multi resolutional binomial distribution filter.

    • Generation of Stereo Map with High Scene of Reality

      摘要:In this paper, the fundamental work mechanism of OpenGL is introduced firstly, and then the principle and course of generating stereo map with high scene of reality are discussed in detail under the platform of Windows 95 OpenGL Visual C 5.0. The fact shows that it is prompt to develop stereo map with this method, and the real display effect is improved very much.

      摘要:In this paper, the compensated replacement method is used to process the mixed pixels in TM image on basis of linear mixing model in order to identify rocks in the area with vegatation cover. The spectral information of vegetation in one mixed pixel is replaced with that of non vegetation in the process. The pixels without vegetation information are not changed and the pixels with heavy vegetation information are masked. The effect of vegetation cover is quantitatively removed and non vegetation information in mixed pixels is strengthened with use of this method.

    • Binary Image Restoration Based on MRF

      摘要:In this paper, a new binary image restoration algorithm is proposed, which is based on Markov Random Fields. This algorithm finds the ML solution in the procedure of pixel value updating. The mechanism of probability receptence is introduced to judge the transition of pixel value by computing the receptence function. Its computation efficiency is very high. Good results are gained in the experiments.

    • Edge Detection Based on Stack Filter and Hopfield Neural Network

      摘要:A new kind of edge detection method based on stack filter and Hopfield neural network is proposed in this paper.First, the stack filter with smaller filtering window size is used to optimally estimate the gradient of gray scale for each pixels of the tested image. Then, weight vector of Hopfield neural network is determined by those optimal estimated values. Finally, converged Hopfield neural network outputs the image edges. Contrast to the stack filter based edge detection. the proposed method gainis higher speed, uses less memory for optimal training of stack filter. Also contrast to the Hopfield neural network based edge detection, the proposed method havs stronger abilities of reducing the effects of noise with different distributions, and can obtain much better edges.

    • A Model for a Class of Geometric Fractals

      摘要:In this paper,on the basis of Iterated Function Systems and Finite Automaton theories,a geometric fractals representation model named regular generation system is proposed。Then,on the basis of generation and test,a modeling algorithm of regular generation system is constructed by using automata inductive learning method。Finally, the experimental result is shown to demonstrate that the model is simple and valid。

    • Signal Design of Video Primary Color Encoder

      摘要:In this paper, under the condition of {0 (R,G,B) 1}, a set of explicit formulas for designing TV test signals of primary-color encoder have been derived, which can meet the demands of television test signals with different types and encoding modes. In addition, some typical test signals’examples and the results of experiment are given. With quick development of multimedia audiovisual services, this programmable design technique illustrated in this paperwill be a prefered method used for developing advanced videotest devices in a nearfuture.

    • JPEG Based Medical Image Feature Retrieval

      摘要:In this paper, a new image feature retrieval method is proposed for large number of JPEG format medical images.The retrieved result, including both space domain and frequency domain information, expresses image feature perfectly and makes content based query more accuracy. The retrieving can be done just afterHuffman decoding but needn’t restore the compressed image data to its original state,thus the time consumed by the algorithml is greatly decreased. The method that the query can be done from“rough”to“fine”according to JPEGmulti-resolution analysis is also presented.

    • Defect Recognition Algorithm Based on Direction Curve in X Rays Photo

      摘要:A new recognition algorithm using composite operator and direction curves to auto detect the dreg defects in X rays photo is proposed in this paper. This algorithm is simple with little computation, fast detection speed, good effect of real time process, high accuracy of detection and good adaptability. Experiments evince this algorithm is a good feature detection method.

      摘要:Split-window algorithm is a major solution to retrieve land-surface temperature from thermal infrared remote sensing data. In this paper, two images (daytime and night ) of NOAA/AVHRR are acquired at Badanjilin desert site on August 22 1997. After the atmospheric correction for the two images is performed by LOWTRAN 7 code, emissivity of certain confidence is estimated by using emissivity inversion algorithm of Li&Becker(1993). On the basis of the same emissivity knowledge, land-surface temperature is retrieved by using five typical split-window algorithms respectively. The temperature of each algorithm is comparedwith that of algorithm of Sobrino(1991), it turnes out that they are comparable and reliable.

    • The Auto and Interactive Image Processing System for TV Weather Forecast

      摘要:The auto and interactive image processing system is a SGI compatible software package developed for the TV weather graphic processing. Using the interactive technology, the simple and convenient way is ensured to detect the bad images and remove it from the serious ordered images then reorder it. And it also tries to take the interactive way controlling the program processes. The system gives the auto solution to transfer the rawweather forecast data to graphic image for video program use. The system function feature as below:   ·Auto control the TVweather graphic processing for simple and unique programming.   ·Auto maintenance the TVweather database.   ·Interactively generate the weather satellite image, weather radar image, numeric weather products and send them to the video system via the network.   ·Blend weather map and satellite image overlays.

    • The Improvement of Bresenment Algorithm

      摘要:In this paper, we present a new method for generating a straight line in raster devices. The algorithm foresees the pixels which will be activated in a raster line and implements parallel filling pixels. It will play an important role in computer system with graphics memory. For small slope line, the new algorithm can avoid the calculating of errors in Bresenham algorithm.
