摘要:A class of optimal 2 D stack filters based on omnidirectional structural elements constraints are proposed by defining omnidirectional structural elements in optimal stack filter design. Theory analyses and simulation experiments have shown that the class of filters are not only effective on preservation of image detail as soon as filtering noise, but also optimal under MAE and MSE criteria without prior statistical knowledge about noise and input signal.
摘要:An approach about register optimising has been presented in this paper, which can be used to develop middle and low level image processing program more effectively. Double speeds can be attained with this method. Experiment based on TMS320C40 shows that a good effect has been reached with this method.
摘要:Image segmentation is a basic technique in image processing.This paper presents an improved thresholding method based on Otsu's method, combining with other techniques to segment silver grains in in situ hybridization. The expriments show that the new method possesses some advantages in the aspects of precision and speed for image segmentation and is available for the automatic thresholding of silver grains in in situ hybridization.
摘要:The method of successive acquisition and processing for dynamic image is studied in this paper. Incorporated with digital video technique, a method for dynamic image processing is suggested. The successive processing for images is realized through programming. The example of dynamic image processing is given. The method is practical, and is characterized by its broad applicability and easy realization.
摘要:In this paper, we compare the coding performance of two different types of multi channel linear phase perfect-reconstruction filter banks. Because the energy in an image is concentrated in the low frequency domain, we observe that filter banks with longer length filters in the low frequency part and shorter length filters in the high frequency part outperform filter banks with equal length filters in image compression.
摘要:In general, histogram equalization and histogram specification are regarded as two different histogram modification techniques in image enhancement because the latter is generally dependent on the former in the traditional method. In this paper, a new method for histogram modification is reported, in which histogram equalization is regarded as a special case of histogram specification, so it can be applied to either histogram equalization or histogram specification. And in the case of histogram specification, the result of the new method is better than that of the traditional method.
摘要:Motion target detection and tracking is one of the most important issues in applied vision research due to its wide applications in many fields. In this paper, a difference image based motion detection algorithm, which results in the symbolic representations of motion targets via their outer rectangular bounds, is presented. Then according to the continuity constraint, motion targets are tracked through image sequence. Experiments show that this method is fast and feasible which can deal with the overlapping and timely missing problems of targets in tracking more properly comparing with other existing methods.
摘要:The functionality of spatial process analysis is the foundation of GIS's comprehensive applicaton. To realize such a goal, it is desirable that not only the data model of GIS can represtent the datasets needed by spatial process models and output datasets, but also GIS is able to do multitemporal spatial analysis. But most of current GISs are static in essence, they cannot represent temporal information and temporal topology, and have not rich functionality of multitemporal analysis. Completely changing or largely modifying data model of current GISs and developing a lot of spatial process models which may have very narrow applications could not be accepted by the GIS vendors. Based on this point of view, a method to extend current GIS to support spatial process simulation modeling is proposed.
摘要:It is indispensable to acquire geographic information from the existed topographical maps with various scales in the process of establishing geographic information system. The hatched polygons, which represent residential areas, are one of the most important sorts of map information. The strategies and algorithms of recognizing and extracting hatched polygons based on scanned map images are put forward and discussed. The RLS transformations in four directions for segmenting the hatched polygons are developed and realized. In addition, the algorithms for image transformations such as shrink, expansion, thinning, open graph deletion and hatched polygon recognition are also discussed in detail. Experiments show that recognition rate is about 96 percent with the methods developed in this paper.

摘要:A new genetic algorithm is proposed to optimize the topology and connection weights for neural networks. The mixed encoding schema of binary and real value code not only retains the advantages of traditional genetic method but also gains the advantages of evolutionary programming and evolution strategies. The offspring generation method which combines the genetic operators and Solis and Wets operator diversifys the search space and speeds up the convergence of genetic search. And the dynamic parameter encoding method for the mixed code can obtain more precise connection weights.
摘要:A new approach for the location of circular arcs in scanned drawings is proposed in this paper. It includes two main procedures: raster to block procedure and circular arc recognition procedure. In the raster to block procedure, the drawing image is split up into primary components (blocks) which are composed of connected black pixels. Based on the blocks, several candidate circle (arc) links are generated and the circular arcs' centers, radius, starting points and end points are estimated in the circular arc recognition procedure.
