      摘要:The recent development of Mobile/Airborne Laser-Ranging/Multispectral-Imaging Mapping System is driven by the availability of compact ruggedized solid state lasers, charge coupled device camrea(CCD), radar sensor, multispectral imaging scanner, Global Positioning System(GPS) and high precision Inertial Navigation System(INS). It is emerging as an attractive alternative to the traditional techniques for large scale spatial data and associated attributes in geographical information systems(GIS) capture. This paper provides the systematic introduction to the use of Mobile/Airborne Laser-Ranging/Multispectral Imaging Mapping System. The Airborne Laser-Ranging &Mutispectral-Imaging Mapping System, which is developed by our group in IRSA, is presented in this paper. This system has the ability of simultaneously capturing multispectral information and DEM, both of them are georeferenced and matched accurately by Laser-Ranging &Multispectral-Imaging Coupled Scanner(LARMICS) that is invented by our group.

      摘要:Fisher optimal discriminant vectors method is an effective method in pattern analysis of high dimension. When the number of the training samples is small compared with the dimensionality of the feature space, the problem becomes the case of a small number of samples. People have proposed many methods for solving the problem of a small number of samples, and made great progress. However, none of the previous methods can obtain the optimal solution when within-class distance equals zero. This point is illustrated in terms of theory, and a new solving method that can obtain the optimal solution in any situations is presented in this paper. The experimental result confirms our inference.

      摘要:In this paper,a new approach to reconstruction of transverse cross sections of arteries from biplane orthogonal projections is proposed. A weighting distance is defined as measure of resemblance between adjacent slices. The measure of resemblance is optimized by modifying minimum flow approach. The connected constraint of cross sections and the random number are then introduced to obtain most connected cross sections. Experimental results show that 2D slice reconstruction which is of the most resemblance to the guide model and the most connected cross section is obtained under the projection data fidelity constraint using this method.

    • Opeimal Method in Image Reconstruction

      摘要:The effect of null space of projecting data on reconstruction result is discussed. Then the convergence procedure of Algebra Reconstruction Technique (ART) and its reconstruction result for incomplete projecting data are analyzed. Simulated Annealing(SA) method in statistic physics is introduced into the iteration of ART method to deal with the problem of incomplete constraint. Based on the assumption of continuity among image pixels, constraint of most stable solution is added to get the optimal solution by means of Simulated Annealing method.

    • Image Thresholding Based on Maximum Between-Class Posterior Cross Entropy

      摘要:Although several image thresholding algorithms based on minimum cross entropy criterion have been proposed in recent years, only the form of the criterion or a priori probability and conditional probability was employed. In this paper, a new algorithm based on maximum between-class cross entropy using a posterior probability is presented for image thresholding taken into account the dissimilarity between object and background in image. Suppose the conditional distributions of object and background are modeled with normal distributions, the a posterior probabilities are computed by Bayes formula. The new algorithm is compared with a number of traditional algorithms based on Shannon entropy and minimum cross entropy by applying them to various test images.

    • Color Spectrum Estimation from RGB Triplet by Using Photon Statistics

      摘要:The RGB triplet of a pixel in a color image contains more information than itself. This paper proposes a novel approach for color spectrum estimation directly from the corresponding RGB signals. (more specific, the resultant spectrum is a metamer of the given RGB). It stems from the idea of optical quantum statistics which regards a spectrum as the random distribution of many of the photons. After deriving a maximum probably equation, we transform the estimating problem to an optimization problem. Experiments on real images show the practicable of the proposed novel method. We believe that it provides many new tools for image processing and computer graphics that involve color information.

    • A Solution for Image Blurring Point Spread Function

      摘要:A practical solving method for blur point spread function of two image is proposed. In the two images that are taken for the same scene in the far space and in the near space, the far one is more blurred than the near one. The blurring point spread function expresses the relationship of two images transforming. Regarding the ill posed problems, a regulation method is given by enumerating gauss function. This method can be accomplished rapidly with the high noise condition.The experimental results are given in detail.

    • Color Image Compression by Fuzzy Quantization of Multidimensional Vectors

      摘要:A fuzzy quantizer of multidimensional vectors for color image compression is proposed. It exploits the spatial redundancy as well as the chromatic information by defining the membership function with spatial-chromatic combined vectors. As its hypersphere determined by the membership function shrinks, each vector, which is assigned to multiple clusters in the early stages of iteration, falls in one cluster. The initial codebook is generated by a constrained random initialization to help avoid the local minimum. Experiment results demonstrated that this approach of spatial-chromatic vector quantization can achieve high compression efficiency. The results also revealed that the method is capable of diminishing noise without blurring edges in the image.

    • A Method Based On Principle Vector Set For Texture Analysis

      摘要:This paper describes a texture representation and an analysis method based on multi dimensional texture principle vector set(PVS) and its corresponding energy set (ES), and also provides an approach to computing the PVS and the ES from a texture image. For the convenience of texture analysis and recognition, we present an algorithm based on the PVS and the ES, with which a structure error, a energy error and a total error between two texture images are able to be obtained. The algorithms have been implemented on PC platform to evaluate the performance of the method, also have given two experiment results and the comparison with the co-occurrence matrix method. The results of the experiments demonstrate that the method is efficient and robust.

    • A Post Processing Algorithm of DCT coded Images

      摘要:“Block effect”prevalent in transform encoder images becomes increasingly objectionable as the required bit rate is reduced. The perceptual effect of this coding noise is highly dependent on the local behavior of the signal upon which it is superimposed, this coding noise can be divided three parts: Staircase noise, Grid noise, Texture noise. At first, we analyze why and how the“block effect”appears, and the measure of the "block effect". Then, we propose a processing algorithm named“adaptive block boundary average”and a computationally-efficient edge classifier which is the basis of a non-linear shift variant post-processing algorithm incorporating average filter and median filter.

    • Robust Edge Detection Based on Soft Morphology

      摘要:Mathematical morphology is an efficacious theory and method, which used in image processing and pattern recognition, especially in image edge detection. This paper introduces the definition of soft morphology, then presents a robust edge detector based on it SMD (Soft Morphological Detector),and compared with other edge detectors based on crisp morphology. The results of experiments show that this new detector SMD has very strong robustness, and performs better than other morphology detectors.

    • An Improved GFO Algorithm for High Quality Edge-Detection Of Images

      摘要:The conventional algorithms for edge-detection are based on the gray gradient in an image, and it is inevitable to get wide edges . Generalized Fuzzy Operator ( GFO ) is a new efficient algorithm for edge-detection [1]. By use of GFO, a high quality edge image with very low noise can be obtained. This paper presents an improved algorithm of GFO, Before the implement of GFO, a Neighborhood-weighted pre-processing is realized to original images, which can help GFO to solve some problems such as discontinuous lines of edges. Our experiments show that this method appears preferable to others.

    • Sperm Image Morphological Analysis

      摘要:A computer automated system, include static and dynamic sperm image analysis system, developed for object assessment of human sperm density and velocity, which identifies the motility. The hardware sample the static sperm image and dynamic sperm, while the software can recognize the number of sperm in the static image and calculate the skeleton of the track of the sperm. Then the clinical manifestation information will be calculated from the result. The system is helpful to the sperm quality analysis.

    • Statistical Multiplexing of Multiple Video Programs

      摘要:Digital video has been transmitted using channels that have constant channel rate. Most video compression algorithms use MC and VLC to achieve compr ession, There always need a output buffer between the video encoder and the channel multiplexer when the encoder operates on the CBR mode. The normal mux. will always waste channel resources when simply combining the input CBR video. Here we give a new mux. module which is based on statistics.     • Study of Correspondence Analysis on Landsat TM

      摘要:Landsat TM image is one of the primary sources of remote sensing geological information at present. It provides a lot of information for mapping and recognizing unaltered and altered rocks and vegetation and other things in the region of visible and near infrared and short-wave infrared and thermal infrared bands. Because its thermal infrared band(TM7) has a low spatial resolution, generally, it isn't used. This paper uses Correspondence Analysis (CA) to process the TM image at the Seerteng Mountain, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and acquired good results and shows the useful information that CA provides.
