    • Natural Environment Image Segmentation Based on The Fractal Characters

      摘要:In this paper, we proposed a fractal characters based method for nature environment image segmentation. The main goal of the segmentation is to find the artifact object from the image. Based on several kinds of fractal characters, we can acquire the description of roughness of each part of the image. Then we can get the segmentation of the image. We also analysis the performance of the data fitting in the box dimension estimation, and present an optimizedmethod. According to a lot of experiments, the proposed approach is proved to be suitable for texture segmentation and artifact object finding in natural environment images.

    • A GIS Semantic Data Model for the Purpose of Data Sharing

      摘要:The general way to technically implement the GIS data sharing in early days was the adoption of geographic encoding based on some classifications. The reason for this is the perception that the codes used to represent the geography is unique. But the practices in recent years have proved that the method above is of little use in data sharing. This article has given a GIS Semantic Data Model to try to solve the problem of data sharing. A theoretical frame as well as the strict definition of related concepts have been given in this paper. An application related to the design of NREDIS has been introduced to verify the applicability of the proposed model. Some further work has been listed in the last paragraph.

    • Image Matching by Adaptive Probability Relaxation Operation

      摘要:Image matching is the key step of realizing the stereo vision, and the relaxation operating is a powerful way. In some situation, the traditional relaxation operating converges slowly because the process is an iterative procedure. In this paper, authors present an adaptive approach toward relaxation operating and give out the method of determining the correlative coefficient. Finally, the efficiency of algorithm is examined through a practical experiment.

      摘要:After discussing the second level low frequencies part of wavelet transform, which is rather difficult to be compressed, we can use the nonlinear mapping capacity of multi layer free forword neural network on BP algorithm. A scheme of image coding based on nonlinear predictor is put forward. Redundance among the wavelet coefficients can be ridded effectively with the help of this method. On the condition of relatively low distortion degree , the rather satisfactory compress rate can be achieved.

      摘要:The ray tracing algorithm is adopted to complete the realistic graphical generation for a NC turning machining center and it’s processing simulation is realized in off line. In the simulation, on the basis of characteristics in NC processing,the Torrance-Sparrow’s illumination model is simplified and the complicated Boolean operation is avoided using the feature model technology. Since the main task in the ray tracing is to calculate intersection points,a new method is designed based on a convex polyhedron constraint condition and the Cyrus-Beck’s algorithm for line clipping. The method is not only efficient, but it can lead to the test and the intersection calculation between a ray and an arbitrary convex polyhedron. In the end, the possibility to generate an real time fidelity scenario based on ray tracing method is discussed.

    • Color Histogram Based on Image Retrieval

      摘要:Content-Based image retrieval (CBIR),which is the mixture of image understanding and multimedia, is becoming a key technique in next generation large scale intelligent multimedia database. In this paper, we present three algorithms to support color histogram based on retrieval in logo image database. The first two algorithms are used to reduce the complexity in Swain’s algorithm,and the thired one is used to make binary tree structure for quick retrieval.

    • Edge Detection Based on Wavelet Transform Method

    • A quick Fractal Block Coding Based on Multiscale Matching

    • The XYZ Technique for Real Time Video Compression

      摘要:This paper describes the theory and characteristics of 3D DCT technigue for real time video compression. 3D DCT technigue is a symmetric method used in video coding and decoding. As compared with the hybrid coding in existent internatonal standards (e.g.H.261, MPEG, etc.) , it has lower complexity, higher compression rate and better reconstructed image quality. Therefore the 3D DCTtechnique would have a very good spectacle in the area of real time coding.

    • Data Compression of Meteorological Satellite Cloud-Charts

      摘要:On the basis of the statistical characterestics of satellite meteorological infrared cloud-charts this paper presents a coding algorithm of“Sub-sampling+Modified JPEG+Image enlarging”,realizing a compression ratio of 50∶1~100∶1, with the PSNR of 35~40dB and visually unperceptible distortion. For error-free data compression of satellite cloud-charts, training set is selected to seek the minimum mean-square-error preditor,which is used as the fixed predictor and applied to the compression of any cloud-chart image, with a better performance than any other fixed predictors reported so far.

    • Research on Multimedia RISC Core Design

      摘要:Embedded microprocessor core is an important part of multimedia chip. In this paper, the design strategies for multimedia RISC core are expounded. MRI, a novel RISC core which is suitable for multimedia applications, is then presented with these strategies. MRI can be widely used in many multimedia areas such as image communication, audio encoding and video on demand service. The prototype implementation has verified its logic validity.
