摘要:Cluster analysis is an important technique for data mining and knowledge discovery in spatial databases. Its main advantage is the ability to find interesting structures or clusters directly form the spatial data without using any background knowledge. Some available algorithms are reviewed and a mathematical morphology based clustering algorithm (MMC) is presented in this paper. Clusters with arbitrary shape can be discovered by using MMC algorithm, and the optimal cluster number is automatically determined by a heuristic method. The algorithm can be implemented in vector databases as well as in raster databases. The experiments show that the new algorithm is feasible and effective for discovering clusters in spatial databases and is robust when clustering in databases with noise.

摘要:A scheme of variable block size Multiresolution Motion Estimation(VBMRME) is presented in this paper,which reduces temporal redundancy between pictures of the image sequence. Motion vectors in the highest level of the wavelet pyramid are first estimated.Then they are refined for the prediction of motion vectors in the lower levels.The size of a block in each sub image is adapted to its level in the wavelet pyramid,so that the searching and matching time can be considerably reduced.
摘要:In this paper,a new feature selection method is presented based on analysis of the feature distribution of the images using information theory.In order to extract more useful information of the feature distributions,we calculate the entropy of the feature intervals instead of the whole fearue space,then Special used Multi dimension Feature Space(SMFS) is constructed, which was comprise of effective feature intervals with small entropy, small inter pattern dispersion and large intra pattern dispersion.Different pattern has its distinctive SMFS.The experiment of the component recognition on the assembly lines using this method shows quite satisfing results.

摘要:The intersecting is an important factor which influences the efficiency and the reliability of Boolean algorithms in solid modeling based on curved surfaces, and the intersecting algorithm is closely related to the geometric representation of curved surfaces. Although curved surfaces can be commonly represented with NURBS, unnecessary complexities are caused for the intersecting of quadric surfaces, which are frequently used to describe geometric features of shafts, holes and grooves etc. in mechanical part designing. Therefore, intersecting algorithms of them are required to have higher accuracy, higher efficiency and higher robustness. For this reason, we introduce a practical representation of quadric surfaces, and on the basis of that, algorithms of intersection points between quadric surfaces and several conics, fourth degree nonplanar space curves constructing their boundaries are developed.
摘要:A image quality measure scheme based on the Human Visual System Characteristics was proposed. Luminance masking and spatial frequency masking were considered in our scheme. Exprimental results showed that the proposed measure scheme correlates better with perceptual image quality.
摘要:The tree and forest structure of "∧" growing bases obtained had made the foundation of computer modeling on random Koch curve island. Three kinds of random Koch curve islands were defined. It was analysed that stable fractal dimension of the second and the third kinds of the above islands could be obtained only from the perimeter area relation. The compute programe modeling the above islands and their fractal dimension was provided. From compute results, it was cleared that how the islands was selected and the number of island pairs needed in determining of fractal dimension and statistical dimension. The results also showed that both the relation ship between fractal dimension (or statistical dimension) and nesteed tier, and the relationship between distributions of regression straight lines of lgP—lgA from three kinds of the islands and nested tier.
摘要:A novel method of generating multiresolution pyramids is presented. Basing on the facet model, it achieves filtering directly in 2 dimension space by using 2 dimension polynomial to approximate the intensity function of images. The method is different from the ones existing, in which the 2 dimension filters areapproximated by two 1 dimension filters. Comparing with the existing methods, the experiment results show that the method has the advantage of less information energy loss.
摘要:This paper proposes a method for extracting corner feature, which is rotation, shift and scale invariant, from images boundary and recognizing occluded objects by using these features. Result of experiments is also given.

摘要:Since JPEG does not perform well at high compression ratio, many algorithms have been proposed
recently to get better performance. One of the best is EZDCT[1,2]. But it still can not over come the inherent wackiness of DCT based algorithm—blocking artifacts. In order to solve the problem, an algorithm, namely the embedded zero tree for layered DCT(EZLDCT) is proposed in this paper. Compared with EZDCT, it can reduce blocking artifacts efficiently and gain better image quality for complex images, such as "Barbara" and "Goldhill" etc., at the same compression ratio.
摘要:Using Skeleton Technique, we can give a flexible method to store and create Chinese characters on computer. A character stored by this method is called skeletal Chinese character. Its efficiency for interactive use make it suitable as a basic data structure in Chinese character design system. This paper presents our system designing form of printed Chinese character. Based on skeletal Chinese characters, the system can display a character in different style.
摘要:A method of combining GIS with measured data from meteorology station to establish temperature distribution model in mountain area is introduced. On the basis of DEM, terrain characteristics and solar data for various dates are used to derive insolation.Elevation, latitude and longitude with insolation are used to establish temperature distribution model in mountain area.
