The paper gives a algorithm of split and combination.It realizes the feature’s extraction of character element of map and character’s segment and extraction. Finally, we give the experiment result of the algorithm of split and combination. The algorithm is applicable of the other type map character’s segment and extraction.
摘要:One of the major aspects of research work in image processing is texture segmentation. This paper proposed a method combining the texture spectrum features with the region growing method. The method realized unsupervised texture segmentation. Promising results were obtained when segmenting texture of several texture images.
摘要:This paper deals with the problem of face detection for applied vision. We introduce two difference picture based algorithms: scanning algorithm and profile projection algorithm. They are effective, reliable, and quasi real time algorithms. Experiment results show that they can be promising solutions to the face detection problem for applied vision systems as automatic face input procedure.
摘要:A system which can recognize compact targets from complex environments independently of objects’position, size and orientation is proposed. The system first selects threshold(s) automatically for the original image to get several binary images. In the simplest case, one threshold and ,therefore, two binary images are got, one of which is got by setting 1 the
pixels whose gray value is larger than the threshold , setting others pixel 0, and the other is completely opposite to this one. The binary images are used to determine the patterns’position .The system then uses the position data to extract rectangle areas from the original gray image. For every extracted area, a threshold is selected to get two binary images which are respectively transformed independently of position, size and orientation. Finally the geometrical moments are calculated for the transformed binary image to input to a BP as the image’s features to recognize it.
摘要:In the paper, A new skeleton definition of region based on chessboard distance is submitted, which is more close to the true figure of region than traditional skeleton, the algorithm is brief. Instead of only using the structure information of skeleton in traditional recognition method based on the skeleton information, The depth information and the structure information of skeleton are combined in the algorithm. A series of new feature to recognize the target is submitted in this paper also. The feasibility of the algorithm is proved by the experiment results.
摘要:Virtual Reality is a high fidelity interface that simulates what you see, hear and act in the nature. Image based rendering is a much attractive topic in last years or two. It has become an important technique which supports modeling and real time rendering in the VR applications. The paper discusses thoroughly many present image based rendering methods and gives a catalogue of them, Moreover, we introduce simply the researches we are undergoing and the future works interested.

摘要:A real time image matching based on wavelet transform are discussed in this paper. Lipschith regularity exponent is introduced as the constraints during multiresolution feature extraction in order to ensure the reliability. A hierarchical matchimg is realized using orthogonal wavelet decomposition and reconstruction. Sub pixel matching is carried out by superposing edge feature on image. The experimental results demonstrate that above method is significant.

摘要:Image binarization is one of the key steps in scanning digitizing of mining maps. Binarization result directly affects the efficiency and precision of consequent vector reconstruction. After the analysis of various kinds of image binarization algorithms in the processing of scanned mining maps, we bring forward a new image binarization method based on set operation of binary images, which is named as Dynamic Adaptive Binarization with Multi Thresholds. This approach can take into account the gray levels of the whole frame and the neighborhood feature of the pixels simultaneously. With this method, Image binarization is easy and fast , and it can get rid of adhesion and rupture of the lines in the scanned maps.
摘要:Based on the schototics analysis of the two kinds of DCT coefficients, a scalable coding scheme complied with H.263 recommendation is proposed. This scheme is independent on the hardware and can be implemented easily and quickly, sending successive video signal within dynamically changeable bandwidth. Therefore it is suitable for the videoconference system running on the computer network.

摘要:Level of detail(LoD) representations perform an effective tool for real time rendering of complex geometric environments. Of these representations, hierarchical dynamic simplification can continuously refine a LoD model at run time according to changing view point. This paper improves original framework of hierarchical dynamic simplification. We apply a vertex mapping method to effectively support the rapid transformation between different LoD models. In addition, the method for constructing and maintaining the framework of hierarchical dynamic simplification is introduced.

摘要:GISs of new generation are very good tools for the management, Visualization thd analysis of spatial data. Integrating GIS and mathematical model systems for debris simulation is very helpful to model system in parameters aquisition, temporal data management, visudization and process analysing.Limited to the well known raster GIS-ERDAS and DEBRIS (our own software system for debris simulation),a full integration policy, including automatic collection of model paramers, visualized representation of multi-temporal debris data,profile analysing, structure of the whole integration system ,is detailed introduced and realized.
