摘要:We develop a novel motion estimating algorithm based on wavelet. The time complexity of this algorithm is about one tenth of full search algorithm when it keeps the estimating precise. The better frequency wavelet decomposition of DFD used in this algorithm improves quality of recovery image a lot. The experiment shows that our new algorithm generates better quality of recovery image with high compression ratio than MPEG 2.
摘要:A motion compensation method based on overlapped triangular patches is proposed after analysing the general triangular patch compensation method using affine transformation. With help of the spring net notion,the refining process of motion vector of triangular mesh points is completed by using a quadrilateral matching method,and predictive accuracy may be improved obviously.
摘要:The wavelet based representation for the problem of image restoration is investigated and the algorithm of hierarchical image restoration based on wavelet transform is presented. This method can not only greatly reduces the time consumption for image restoration, but also improves the qualities of result images.
摘要:Fractal code of a range block consists in find a best pair through matching between the range block and domain blocks in a pool of domain blocks one by one.This time consuming block matching procedure influences speed of fractal block coding.We focus on the reducing search time of block matching procedure by replacing full search matching with matching in the neighbourhood and matching based on classification of image block.Our result turns out that fractal block coding based on matching in the neighbourhood and classification of image block greatly reduces encoding time,but slightly degradation in PSNR of the decoded image.

摘要:With the comparison between the H.261 and H.263,the properities of the low bitrate image sequence coding are discussed in this paper.Test sequences are used to compare the advantages of H.263 over H.261,as well as the coding efficiency of the options in H.263.A video communication system based on H.263 code using Pentium CPU,is introduced.
摘要:In recent years, multimedia communication technologies have been growing at a dazzing speed.Meanwhile, each telecommunication standardization organization issued new communication standards regularly. According to the draft H.324 and a series of related recommedations, which were issued by ITU-T in November 1995, this paper described the low bit rate multimedia telephone terminal operating over the General Switched Telephone Network (GSTN). By using new Video CODEC standard and other Audio、Multiplex standards, the H.324 terminal will achieve better video quality and will provide more flexible, advantageous services in a narrow band channel.
摘要:This paper discusses a frame-buffer architecture, in which, three parallel techniques(SIMD, Memory cross and Pipeline) and CACHE are used to improve the bandwidth of frame buffer. The proposed system permits parallel access to an N/2 pixels rectangle. The rectangle can be a row, a column or an array. Z-buffer of the system can improve the efficience of hidden-surface algorithm.
摘要:This is the second in the survey series of yearly bibliographies on image engineering in China.Considering the current status of the researches on image engineering and the applications of image techniques as well as the distribution of related publications in China, more than 200 research and technique references are selected from a set of 15 Chinese journals, in which papers concerning image engineering are relatively concentrated, and are classified into different categories according to their contents. They show a general and up~to~date picture of the progresses of image engineering in China. In addition, this paper also provides the convenient means of literature searching in this field.
