Line feature is very important to images.In order to extract lines perfectly this paper provides an approach to multiscale image analysis that we call Beamlet analysis.Beamlets have localized scale/location/orientation based on dyadically-organized line segments.Experiments show that the newer method extracts lines better not only in the original images

but also in the noising ones.
