This paper presents several models of index algorithm and analysises
the property of lifting wavelets transform.To solve the problems of the space needed for the index-matrix
we change the 5/3 wavelet
and propose a novel image multiscale transform method.The dynamic ranges of both high-frequency coefficients and low-frequency coefficients generated by the proposed new transform are the same as those of the original input image.Thus
the multi-level reversible index transform is realized.The experimental results show that the implementation of the multiscale transforms based on index method is faster than that of the general method.
