To reduce redundancy and generate anti-aliasing subbands
we design a low redundant image multiscale transform with new anti-aliasing direction filtering. The new transform combines wavelet with frequency directional filter banks. The directional filter bank has compact support in frequency domain. The filtered directional subbands lack the spectrum aliasing phenomenon. A novel decimation method is adopted to make the decimated directional subbands with shift invariance avoid the aliasing. The new transform can reduce redundancy efficiently and improve the direction selectivity of directional filter banks. The simulation results show that
